12 Week Run Program

Initial Consult:Work through a periodic training plan understanding the importance of breaking down the cycles of running learning how to build, peak and taper properly for a race. With the initial consult of the 12 week run program plan you thoroughly learn the GetRunning system which is designed to keep you right on top of your training and walk away with a 4 week full plan of attack covering everything from tips on running, what physician’s to use where, the right shoes, running gear, injury prevention and how to make running as easy on your body as possible. ...More

Consultation

In this consultation session I will go into your history of exercise, your current training program and look at your goals. I will give recommendations on how to approach training and identify any potential problems and risk factors that you may have. The session includes a running appraisal and a follow up “plan of attack” e-mail. ...More

Video Analysis and Feedback

Consists of 2 sessions held over two separate consultations.

Needs and analysis - determine running history/current training/goals/lifestyle commitments and plan of attack. Explain running and importance of biomechanic efficiency - breakdown myths and misunderstandings. Video running – video technique/running in natural environment. Present running style - explain ideal running technique with examples, feedback analysis and changes needed. Change running style - You will be left with a full understanding of changes that need to be made with simple key points of change and a thorough understanding of being able to progress forward. ...More

Understand the importance of strengthening for running and where it fits; learn why it’s important to strengthen with a global perspective.
